A review article published in CNS Drugs highlighting new and emerging therapies for the treatment of Parkinson's disease indicates that coenzyme Q10 is a promising treatment for patients with Parkinson's disease. Results of studies related to coenzyme Q10 treatment in Parkinson's disease suggests that it slows down functional decline and can have a symptomatic, neuroprotective and neurorestorative effect
